MY PASSION FOR DESIGN AND STORY TELLING HELPS PEOPLE CONNECT THRU SHAREABLE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES
Prairie House
On 25 acres on the outskirts of Montana this home was designed to respect the Prairie Grasslands. The footings were hand dug to ensure minimal disturbance to the grass which has been in existence for hundreds of years. Permeable materials were used for the walkways and roads to allow for water to continue to recharge the ground aquifers. A perfect balance between architecture and nature with careful placement of the dwelling based on where it was the least impactful drove the siting and positioning of this structure. It was nature that determined where the building went. Not views or what we wanted but where the site and environmental conditions suggested.
